Biography

Professor Thomas Spitzer is an internationally recognized expert in ENT surgery, specializing in the removal of various types of tumors of the head, neck and oral cavity. He is an internationally recognized expert in the removal of benign and malignant tumors of the thyroid and parathyroid glands, pharynx and larynx, as well as tonsil surgery and all types of ear and vocal cord surgery. The professor is known internationally as a virtuoso in performing a wide range of reconstructive surgeries.

Thanks to his brilliant knowledge of modern ENT surgery, Professor Spitzer has managed over a 30-year career not only to save tens of thousands of patients from cancer, but also to restore the aesthetic appearance of the head, face and neck after surgery. In his daily practice, Professor Spitzer uses the latest tools, such as the da Vinci robotic surgery machine used for minimally invasive thyroid surgery, laser technology and many others.
In his wide-ranging practice, he is also one of the most renowned scientists in the field of otolaryngology, having published more than 90 scientific papers that have earned him a solid reputation in the scientific world.

His achievements in science and practice have been widely recognized both in Israel and abroad; he was chairman of the Israeli Association of Head and Neck Surgery for four years, and is regularly invited to give lectures at renowned universities abroad and at prestigious international congresses.
