Biography

Dr. Eitan Sudri is an attending physician in the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Beilinson Hospital of Rabin Medical Center, and also heads the Nasal and Nasal Tube Treatment Unit.

Education:
Dr. Sudri received his medical education in the Technion (Haifa) at the Faculty of Medicine at Haifa University. He completed his internship at the Department of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Beilinson Hospital.

Internships:

  • Participation in research in molecular biology of head and neck cancers at Johns Hopkins Institute (USA),
  • Endoscopic surgery of the nose, maxillary sinuses and skull base, and research on nasal and sinus problems at Stanford University.


Specialties:

  • Surgical treatment of nasal obstruction,
  • Complex endoscopic (minimally invasive) surgery for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the nose and sinuses,
  • Complex endoscopic as well as open surgeries for frontal sinus diseases,
  • Endoscopic closure of cerebrospinal fluid leaks from the nose,
  • Endoscopic removal of benign and malignant tumors of the nose and sinuses,
  • Endoscopic surgery for removal of benign and malignant tumors of the skull base and brain with the participation of neurosurgeons,
  • Endoscopic surgeries of tear ducts and eyeballs involving oculoplastic surgeons.


Research Interests:

  • Clinical and laboratory studies of chronic sinusitis with special emphasis on identifying disease mechanisms and seeking new treatments.
  • Evaluation of quality of life and results of surgical and postoperative treatment of nasal and sinus diseases.
  • Research on the molecular biology of benign and malignant neoplasms of the nose and sinuses.
