Dvora Blumenthal is a highly qualified neurooncologist and director of the neurooncology department at the Cancer Institute with extensive educational and clinical experience at West Virginia University Hospitals, Memorial Sloan-Ket Cancer Center.

The professor specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of benign and primary malignant tumors of the brain and spinal cord, and treats metastatic cancer of the central and peripheral nervous system.

  • 1994 – Specialized in neuro-oncology at the New York Clinic for the Treatment of Oncology and Related Diseases.
  • 1998-2005 – Head of the Division of Neuro-oncology at the Huntsman Institute of Oncology.
  • Since 2005. – Head of the Department of Neurooncology at Sourasky Medical Center (Ikhilov), Tel Aviv, Israel.


Scientific activities

The experience and knowledge gained in the United States have helped Ms. Blumenthal make incredible strides in clinical research aimed at treating brain tumors. Currently, the doctor is studying the epidemiology and hereditary predisposition to cancer, which is helping her to successfully treat serious diseases.
