Otolaryngologist surgeon

Biography

Graduate of the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. He studied otolaryngology, head and neck surgery at Hadassah University Hospital in Jerusalem. He completed his specialization in otolaryngology, particularly ear and skull base disorders, at Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is affiliated with Howard University.

Since 2014, he has held the position of Director of Audiology Services at Rabin Medical Center. He serves as the Head of the Department of Nose, Ear, and Throat Surgery at Meir Medical Center.

He actively participates in and presents at numerous conferences in Israel and abroad. He diagnoses and treats various ear conditions, including hearing loss and balance disorders, as well as inflammatory and neoplastic conditions in both children and adults, congenital or acquired health issues.

Sample surgeries performed in various situations include:

  • Tympanoplasty (eardrum hole repair)
  • Ossicular chain reconstruction (ossiculoplasty)
  • External ear canal reconstruction (canaloplasty)
  • Mastoidectomy (inflammatory and mastoid bone-related procedures)
  • Facial nerve, auditory nerve, and/or balance nerve procedures
  • Implantation of various hearing devices, including bone-anchored devices and cochlear implants
  • Vocal cord surgeries (laryngoscopy)”
