Biography

Dr. Bibbs, 43, completed his medical studies at the Technion – Haifa and completed an internship at the Rabin Medical Center in Petah Tikva. Following this, he began an academic research year in epidemiology and infectious diseases. He completed his specialization in orthopedic surgery at Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba, and was named Meir Medical Center’s outstanding intern in 2012.

After completing his internship, he began a fellowship at Tel Aviv Medical Center (Ichilov) on shoulder surgery.

After completing his fellowship internship, he joined the shoulder department of Ichilov Hospital as a shoulder surgery specialist.

In his capacity as a shoulder surgery specialist,

Dr. Bibbs specializes in surgeries:

  • traumatic fractures of the shoulder and proximal part of the arm, tendon repair surgeries,
  • stabilization and prevention of shoulder dislocations, and shoulder joint endoprosthesis, rehabilitation procedures after surgery
  • conservative treatment methods for acute and chronic shoulder problems, including diagnosis, guidance and reference to physiotherapy and shoulder injections.


In addition to these activities, Dr. Bibbs serves as head of the medical team of the Hapoel Tel Aviv basketball team.
As part of the activities of Tel Aviv University’s Department of Orthopedics, Dr. Bibbs lectures to medical students and trainees from many hospitals in Israel, as well as lectures to the general public on shoulder problems and general orthopedics.
