Professor Popovzer is an outstanding specialist in oncology and radiation therapy ENT, with many years of clinical experience.
Education and specializations
Aaron Popovcer graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Jerusalem. After graduation, he continued his residency in head and neck surgery at Hospital Beilinson (Petah Tikva). He completed his second specialization in oncology and radiology at the University
Hospital of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and at Memorial Sloan Kettering
Hospital in New York. Innovative techniques in brachytherapy and focused,
long-distance radiation therapy, which he mastered during his training, allow
Dr. to diagnose and treat diseases holistically: from the point of view of an
otolaryngologist, oncologist and radiation therapist, making him a versatile specialist
in this field.
Prof. Popovtser is head of the Israeli Society of Head and Neck Oncology, and a member of the Society of Otolaryngologists in Israel.

Professional achievements
Professor Popovtser currently heads the only department in Israel specializing in
head and neck oncology, located at the Davidoff Center, Rabin Medical Center.
He is also deputy director of this center. Under Dr. Popovzer’s direction, using
unique organ-preserving techniques and the world’s most advanced
pharmacology, he successfully treats head and neck tumors.
He is an active participant and speaker at international scientific conferences and symposia. He is a medical researcher, collaborating with Israeli scientists in the development and improvement of existing methods of diagnosis and treatment of tumors in otorhinolaryngology.
For many years, Prof. Popovtser has combined his clinical and scientific work with teaching at the Advanced Clinical Course at Rabina Medical Center and clinical oncology at the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University.
